Gradually they start losing interest in their family life and ignore even their basic responsibilities of life. This disrupts the routine of common everyday life causing a rift in relationships. A blissful and happy married life can overnight change into nightmare if one of the couple is addicted to gambling.

While gambling man losses the sense of time. One can sit in front of the slot machines or online casino games for hours, thereby, not giving enough time to the family. This surely causes strain in a couple’s relationship which ultimately leads to divorce.

The family often finds it difficult to cope up with the emotional and financial swings that a gambler has in his life. There are very few families who have managed to stay by the gambler and pull him out of the addiction. In most of the cases, it has resulted in a failed marriage.
